What's Going on With These Vape Shops?
As an eliquid company, our main goal as an industry has always been to help people stop smoking and live healthier lives through our products. Lately we are starting to see our beloved industry get overtaken by some B&Ms who have no business being in the e-cig business.
We wanted to share with you the three vape stores that you've probably visited and have no desire to go back to.
#1. Bros n' Dudes Vape Shop
Bros n' Dudes style vape shops are by far the most common form of crappy B&Ms. We're talking about shops where the neck-bearded regulars spend their days grazing at the sample bar and loudly injecting their thoughts into every conversation.
More often than not, the owner of this type of shop can be found sitting on a couch, vegetating while basking in the thick clouds of vapor that seemingly never dissipate.
When the employees aren't taking a break they are generally busy taking selfies for Instagram or blowing huge clouds to give the inside of the shop that awesome cloudy atmosphere that vape bros love.
Be prepared spend a decent amount of time trying to get the attention of an employee as they will most certainly be busy taking selfies for the Gram' or crafting a new coil build in their personal RDA.
Fast Eddy's House of Cartemizers
While being newbie friendly is often considered a good thing, shops like Fast Eddy's House of Cartemizers generally only carry a small selection of entry level eGo batteries, Protanks, and iClear devices.
This store is owned by someone who has pretty much zero knowledge of anything related to vaporizers, but opened a vape shop anyway. They are stuck in 2012 and refuse to carry anything remotely close to a modern device.
Fast Eddy only carries two e-liquid lines, their house juice and a so-called "premium" line which is just their house juice with more VG.
You'll discover awesome flavors like “sour apple”, “peppermint mocha”, or “hazelnut” in their house lineup. But don't worry, the premium line will help you chuck clouds like a pro (just bring your Innokin Coolfire II).
If you’re in the market for dual Cig-a-Like kit (with a Zebra print carrying case) then Fast Eddy's is the place to go.
Shady Steven’s Vape Emporium
Shady Steven was a once part time pot dealer and a full time Juggalo*. Not knowing the first thing about running a business, he decided opening a vape shop would be a great idea.
On the weekends Shady Steven operates a booth at the local flea market, where he resells FastTech clones and fake JNCO jeans. During the week he spends his days price gouging the local vapers.
*We respect the Juggalo people and the uniqueness they bring to society. Shady Steven does not represent the majority of Jaggalos.
You’ll know that you’ve wandered into a Shady Steven if you see an unkempt array of random devices with ridiculously high prices.
If you like paying top dollar for low quality FastTech items, then Shady Steven is ready to sell them to you.
The Moral of the Story
We know that most B&Ms are owned by hardworking Americans who are legitimately helping the community and the industry overall.
We're just having a little fun here by pointing out some of the worst B&Ms we've visited over the years.
If you can think of any other weird or unsavory types of vape shops, let us know in the comments below. If you can really make us laugh, we might just send you some free juice or swag.
